Bulgaria has become one of the newest golf destinations on the world map. It becomes more and more popular between golf lovers. There are about 15 golf courses, which were built and some of them are fully completed. Some of the courses are named on famous golf stars as Player, Woosenham and Nicklaus. Most of the courses are located on the Black Sea Coast, ski resort - Bansko and the capital Sofia. Bulgaria offers to the fans of sports - perfect conditions and picturesque landscapes.

"Nowhere in the world will find a golf course like this”, said Gary Player. Thracian Cliffs golf course is class "Signature", which features 18 holes designed by golf legend Gary Player. It is located near Balchik, in the north-east sea coast. The landscape that opens from rugged coastal cliffs and the vast blue of the Black Sea, makes Thracian Cliffs one of the most exciting golf courses on earth.

The complex has a Club House, which offers the golfers a convenient meeting place for light meals and refreshing drinks. The equipment shop “Pro Shop” is located next to the Club House and offers a full range of services and equipment.

Black Sea Rama

Black Sea Rama is a professional 'Signature' golf course designed also by Gary Player. It is situated a few kilometers away from Balchik, in the northern part of the Black Sea Coast. The course has a Club House, which consist a Pro-shop, restaurant, snack bar and spa. In the mini complex Bell Tower there are restaurant and shops that are available to the guests and visitors. The Golf Academy in the complex is equipped with the latest technology in the world and it is open to both beginners and advanced golf players.

St Sofia Golf club

Opened since 2004, the Golf Course "St. Sofia" puts the foundation for building golf resorts in Bulgaria. St. Sofia was recently renewed and because of that the course was closed until May 2012. The renovation was carried out under the project of the famous Irish golfer Paul McGinley.
