This Christmas will be added decorations on new places in the capital.
Over 800 meters tricolored light garlands will illuminate the evening of December 1 for the first time before the upcoming Christmas holidays, said from Sofia Municipality.
This is part of the decoration of the official tree of the Municipality, which traditionally is 50-year-old pine, situated in the garden of “Rila” hotel.
On the 15-meter tree except the LED-lights garlands, there will be more than 200 colored lights, as long with other traditional Christmas decorations.
The ignition of Christmas tree in Sofia has become a tradition, along with the concerts and fireworks.
There will be children and young talent in the Christmas program and the city mayor Yordanka Fandakova will send greetings for the upcoming holidays.
New decorations will be on Tsar Osvoboditel blvd, and they will be added in the pedestrian part of the “Vitosha” Blvd. It was a gift from the producers of the film Get away, part of which is filming in Sofia.
In Christmas lights will also be the boulevards “Vasil Levski”, “Tzarigradsko Shose”, “Bryuksel”, “Evtimiy”, “Todor Aleksandrov”, “Maria Louisa” and the streets “GS Rakovski”, “Moskva”, “Alexander Parvi” and other locations in the city center. Kl. University, Square “Slaveykov”.
