The 9th Tesla Rally Serbia 2021 was held on October 2nd in Belgrade, Serbia. The competition took place on the territory of Topčider Park in one day, including 6 regulatory stages.
Top Rent A Car participated with two teams, each of which drove a brand new electric Volkswagen ID.3, which can be rented at attractive prices from the leading car rental company.
The first team of the company consisting of Milen Marinov and Radoslav Marinov managed to win the prestigious international competition for the second time. A total of 15 cars from several countries took part, with the Top Rent A Car team leading convincingly with a double lead over the next in the standings.
The second team of Top Rent A Car with crew Irina Marinova and Nikoleta Ivanova also finished successfully in the race and continues to gain experience in the rally discipline.
The most intriguing was the race for second place. The battle was fought between the teams of Slovenia with Volkswagen ID.4, Sofia’s Inspectorate with Peugeot e-208 and ASK Peshtera with Hyundai Kona, and in the final the Slovenian crew managed to win the second position.
It is important to note that the key to racing in an eco-rally is not the speed with which you pass through the race sections, but the precision of maintaining time and constant speed, as well as the orientation through the navigation book.
