Bulgarian crews took the first three places
The eight edition of Tesla Rally – Serbia, a round of the Balkan championship Eco Rally, took place on July 12th and 13th. 4 hybrids and 9 electric cars joined the race. The route was 300 km long, starting from the city of Novi Sad, through the beautiful Frushka Gora to Krushendol and back.
The well-trained racing team of Top Rent A Car with participants Milen Marinov and Radoslav Marinov was presented with car Tesla Model S. They were placed on first position in the grid and managed to take the first place in the main class of electric cars despite the difficulties of driving in a foreign country on a completely unknown route. Second and third places were also occupied by Bulgarian teams – respectively the crews of the Sofia Inspectorate and of eCars. Participants and visitors gathered pleasant emotions from the race itself and the winners were awarded with cups.
This is the second participation of the Top Rent A Car team in Eco rally as their debut was on the last year`s edition of Eco Rally – Bulgaria 2018 where they won 4th place and did the best performance with Tesla.
