Top Rent A Car was an official logistics partner and exhibitor at Webit
The 11th edition of the biggest festival for digital innovations in the region – Webit.Festival Europe 2019 was held from 13th to 15th of May in the building of the National Palace of Culture and the surrounding area. The spectacular forum started with an official opening under the sounds of the Bulgarian anthem and the greetings from Dr. Plamen Russev, the founder of Webit Festival, Rumen Radev, the President of the Republic of Bulgaria, Maria Gabriel, an European Commissioner for Digital Economy and Society and Yordanka Fandakova, the Mayor of Sofia. This year`s edition Webit.Festival was visited by more than 15,000 delegates from 120 countries, 450 speakers, 1500 startups, 500 accredited media representatives and over 300 exhibitors.
Top Rent A Car was pleased to take care for very important part of the organization as an official logistics partner of Webit.Festival Europe 2019. The famous speakers were met with company`s cars VW Touareg, Nissan Qashqai, VW Passat Estate etc. Of course, the cars were co-branded and definitely made an impression on the roads of Sofia.
Apart from being a logistics partner, Top Rent A Car was also an exhibitor on Webit.Festival 2019. The 100 % electric Renault Twizy and Tesla Model S 75D were exposed in front of NDK, Sofia and complemented perfectly the high-tech atmosphere of the event. All fans of the alternative technologies and all interested in the car rental services had the chance to have a look on the cars and to ask for more information the company representatives. Hundreds curious visitors sat behind the wheel of the electromobiles in order to test the feeling personally and to have a picture with the cars.
