Me and my friends use Top rent a car regularly. We are satisfied. Until today. Charging a late return fee (by 1 hour) is ok. I get it. OK. But charging a fee for missing fuel in the tank? Unacceptable! Fuel refilled 3 km before the airport. A full tank!!! When I took over the car, 10, 15 liters of fuel were missing. This is quite common. I didn't deal. I don't care. I am a regular client. But I'll deal with it next time. And the question - that either I will be charged a fee for returning the car late, or for not refueling - unacceptable. I'm sorry to write a negative review today, but I'm really upset. I believe that today was an exception and I will be able to continue to recommend Top rent car.

Some of the people from Customer care are helpful but some of them behave like this is punishment that they have to work. There were few situations I asked some question and the reposnse was like "leave me alone, I dont want to talk with you" you can check email history to get more details...

Regarding pick-up: Ms. Nia charged us more than she suposed to - I was explaining to her that her calculations are wrong but she didn't want to listen. THis was for additional driver. Difference was gave back by after review by Darina Georgieva

There are two things about the car you should take care of. First are the winter tires - the one that were installed are worse than bad, this are the cheapest chinese/indian tires that do not have much friction while road is wet even if its more than 10 celcius degree. The safety level given by this tires is less than bad - there are plenty of other much better tires in the same price like nexen/debica etc. Second thing are rubber car mats. This are the same like tires the cheapest car mats that do not fit to this car at all. There were few situation when it goes under the pedals and block it which in more than unacceptable. I propose to purchase not OEM if you are looking for cheap ones but dedicated for given car. There are plenty of such on the market.

The third-party liability insurance missed upon return, although I did not lose anything, but they still charged me a fine of 80 euros. Perhaps the employee, when taking the car, forgot to give me the missing document.

Платих си Топ застраховка, но проблема със ремонта на колата трябваше да си реша сам. Да, парите за ремонта ми бяха възстановени, но 4 часа, които ми костваше ремонта няма никой да ми ги възстанови....

Child seat was obviously broken, we were sent to central office to replace. (With child unbuckled) Despite that, we had to wait there with kids in a car. Lost 2.5 hours of our rental time and our weekend. Missed going to 7 lakes. No compensation was pffered

Not only didnt he check the child seats(can happen to anyone), but he has also hinted that it were we who broke the chair. Yeah, right, without touching it.

Мне понравился сам автомобиль, но, невозможность удаленно продлевать депозит доставила много проблем. Мне приходилось тратить свое время и бензин на то, чтобы ездить раз в месяц по 200 км в ваш офис. И один раз мне пришлось ехать 4 часа с Греции в Болгарию и потом 4 часа назад все ради этого депозита. При сдаче автомобиля с меня было взято дополнительно 220 евро за найденную царапину снизу бампера куда я даже не заглядывал когда брал этот автомобиль и не уверен, что ее там не было раньше. В последний день, когда я уже возвращался с Греции в Софию, чтобы сдать автомобиль, он заглох прям на перекрестке высокоскоростного шоссе, как позже выяснилось, машина была удаленно заблокирована службой вашей компании. В результате была создана аварийная ситуация, где автомобиль стоял посреди дороги в левой полосе, где разрешенная скорость движения 120 км в час, что угрожало моей жизни и другим участникам дорожного движения. По совету юриста я соберу необходимые документы и буду подавать на вашу компанию в суд. То что вы делаете, недопустимо и опасно.

The employees were reasonably helpful and professional, however the drop off and pick up process is HORRIBLE. You have to go to the office within the city, complete the paperwork, and then walk 8 blocks to a parking garage to pick up the vehicle. The directions to pick up and drop off are horrible, as it only brings you near the parking garage and falls to explain where to enter to -2 level, or where to go, (the map was awful) and it took me more than 1 hour to even find this underground parking garage site (with my wife waiting with our luggage on the streets of Varna). That happened both on picking up and dropping off. I am a 66-year-old man with heart conditions and there was no special help or assistance as I had to walk around Varna in the summer heat to figure out how to pick up and drop off my rental. There needs to be a better system for assisting customers (old and young), to not make renting at this location into a horror show. The car was very good. The prices are very fair, but those experiences at pick up and drop off were really traumatic and difficult and tainted my opinion of this particular location of Top Rent a Car.
