1. The company charged me $100 for crossing of the Turkish border and issued a Power of Attorney. At the border I was held up for 2 hours and then was told by the Customs that I couldn't enter Turkey in a rental car because I didn't have a Bulgarian Identity Card. When I spoke with your representative in Sofia, he told me that my papers were in order and that "Turkish people make up things" at the border. Nevertheless, my trip plans were messed up and I missed an important meeting.
2. When I picked up the car in Sofia, my representative mentioned "scratches on rim", but failed to indicate on the inspection sheet that scratches were on BOTH rims. When I was returning the car, another representative charged me 200 Euro for scratches on another rim, which had nothing to do with me.

We booked a car for Sunny Beach, as we received the confirmation we noticed that it said Sunny Day and we immediately notified the company through email and did not hear back until the same day we were supposed to get the car delivered. That´s when they discovered the mistake and claimed that the car was 1,5 hours away but we asked them to just deliver that car while we waited. We were told they would send a different car from Bourgas but it would take 1,5 hours to clean it and prepare it for us which we agreed to. !,5 hours later the car arrived but it was not cleaned nor inside or outside and it was not serviced. aircondition not working properly and caused 2 of our children to get carsick due to the heat.

Asked for information she was not legally authorized to ask for and would not give us the car unless we did everything she asked for. I was the only driver but she requested my wifes driverslicens and passport, she wrote down our debitcardnumber on a document instead for keeping. It took 2,5 hours to fill out all the documents, go over the car and all the damages and she finally claimed we had no insurance even though we bought top insurance.

The car was not cleaned and was dirty both inside and outside, needed service (the service lamp indicated) no washerfluid and indicated we needed fill up "Add Blue" before we had used up 25% of the diesel in the tank.

In the contract it was written: pick up and drop off at the Airport. Both was not possible. You have changed your agreements without informing your platform partners. The overall services are much worse than before. We rented three cars in a row and you had no flexibility and even less feeling for a good service for a random customer.

1- I wanted to extend for one more day there is no way I can extend without paying 25 euro extra to drop at the airport.

1- I fueled the car in full. Went to handover the car. Office was close at downtown 9th July 12 pm . I kept searching for the parking took me 45 mints because roads were under construction. I was charged 18 euro extra. ( if this could be refunded would be great.) as I was at the door at exactly 12:00 pm and I showed the admin picture of my presence in the parking.

I was told by the agent the rental period can be extended without any additional conditions if I call before the end of the contract. It turned out this wasn't the truth. As a result I had to return the car at a different location and pay a fine

Me and my friends use Top rent a car regularly. We are satisfied. Until today. Charging a late return fee (by 1 hour) is ok. I get it. OK. But charging a fee for missing fuel in the tank? Unacceptable! Fuel refilled 3 km before the airport. A full tank!!! When I took over the car, 10, 15 liters of fuel were missing. This is quite common. I didn't deal. I don't care. I am a regular client. But I'll deal with it next time. And the question - that either I will be charged a fee for returning the car late, or for not refueling - unacceptable. I'm sorry to write a negative review today, but I'm really upset. I believe that today was an exception and I will be able to continue to recommend Top rent car.

Some of the people from Customer care are helpful but some of them behave like this is punishment that they have to work. There were few situations I asked some question and the reposnse was like "leave me alone, I dont want to talk with you" you can check email history to get more details...

Regarding pick-up: Ms. Nia charged us more than she suposed to - I was explaining to her that her calculations are wrong but she didn't want to listen. THis was for additional driver. Difference was gave back by after review by Darina Georgieva

There are two things about the car you should take care of. First are the winter tires - the one that were installed are worse than bad, this are the cheapest chinese/indian tires that do not have much friction while road is wet even if its more than 10 celcius degree. The safety level given by this tires is less than bad - there are plenty of other much better tires in the same price like nexen/debica etc. Second thing are rubber car mats. This are the same like tires the cheapest car mats that do not fit to this car at all. There were few situation when it goes under the pedals and block it which in more than unacceptable. I propose to purchase not OEM if you are looking for cheap ones but dedicated for given car. There are plenty of such on the market.
