The car was good. But the booking process was terrible. We were SCAMMED!
We had clearly mentioned that we will return the car late (at 10pm after office hour), because we already bought our train ticket back around 11pm, and we were willing to pay 1 day extra (Euro40).
However your staff (Rostislav) told us that we can just dropped the car anytime after 6pm, he only told us that he will put 6pm on paper as procedure. At 10pm, upon returning, we were asked to pay Euro100++ for late return. That is twice the price for paying 1 extra day (Euro40)!
And your staff (Svetoslav) were very rude. He even accused us of lying. He even then forced us to sign the document against our will, forcing us to agreed on paying the late charge. He lied saying that the office had call us asking for the car which we have not received any call for your office AT ALL!
He also tried to charge us on dented done on the car by previous rental. Repeatedly going in and out of the return office checking the car for several of time. While the record of the dent were all ready on the paper.
We will NOT recommend anyone to use this car service anymore! And we will also leave comments on all others media and travelling websites and portal.

I have a deal to pickup and return the car to the airport, the agent informed me that deal is with third party not with us. So I went to pickup the car from toprent head office which was so bad for me.
Then I have paid twice for car full protection, as per the agent that third party full protection is not acceptable.
Total extra payment was 38€
18€ for full protection
20€ fees to return the car to head office

We would like to provide a little clarity to the conditions You described. When clients book a car through our partners, we act only as intermediaries providing the service that You have booked and act on the information received by the partner, including when it comes to the location of the car pick-up.
As for additional coverage, we must clarify that it is optional and we do not oblige clients who already have coverage or insurance to enter into mandatory coverage with us. The only thing that we always explain to our clients is that in the event of damage if the client needs to cover the costs of repairs, we assist clients in providing Protocols, invoices, photographs so that they can receive their insurance funds with our partners.

Svetoslav searched UNDERNEATH the car to find scratches which he claimed we did. I did not look underneath the car when I took the rental since NO other rental company ever looks there. I feel cheated.

I rented a car for two weeks and in less than 24 hrs... the car broke down for technical reasons and saying that service is due in 24 days. Car switched to safe mode and they expected us to drive to our accomodation (up in the mountains) with a car locked in safe mode driving 20km per hr. HOW CAN ONE DRIVE IN THE HIGHWAY AT 20KM PER HR? Car was changed the next day, but i had to pay accomodation for 4 persons till they brought us the replacement car and we lost 2 days of our travelling plans. Also the replacement car had the usb for satellite maps faulty.... so i also had to buy a mobile holder, when i specifically rented a car with sat mqp. This was my 5th time renting from Top Rent a Car and this is the first time i had such issues and i will not return to their service as i want to enjoy my holiday not worry about a car that should have been serviced accordingly! ⁶

The insurance covers almost nothing. Do not rent a car at Top rent a car!!! (we paid more then €600 for the "lost items" and transport. (The license plate was stolen)

Scam operation with unauthorised charges made to my credit card. E24 for parking the car in the correct spot and leaving the key in the box on the counter - no service provided.
It was a long 5 week (and expensive) rental. Of course the car was dirty when I returned it! I have rented literally hundreds of cars all over the world and never been hit with such a fraudulent “cleaning” fee. What do you think I am paying the rental for? If it was 35 one day rentals you would have cleaned the car 35 times!!!
I will dispute your charge via MasterCard and unless the charges is reversed with 24 hours you can expect the internet to be covered with negative reviews.
