On June 6, 2026, the town of Momchilgrad once again became the capital of trail running, welcoming hundreds of participants and outdoor enthusiasts for another edition of Rhodo Rock \u2013 one of the fastest-growing trail running events in Bulgaria. The race took runners through some of the most scenic areas of the Eastern Rhodope Mountains, combining sporting challenge, breathtaking views, and an unforgettable atmosphere.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Participants could choose from several race distances according to their level of preparation and ambition \u2013 9 km, 21 km, 42 km, and 60 km. The longest route featured more than 2,400 meters of elevation gain, turning the race into a true test of endurance, determination, and character.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In addition to the competitive races, the organizers also prepared children’s runs and a hiking route, transforming the event into a celebration for the whole family.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Rhodo Rock is a joint initiative of the teams behind iRun.bg and K3 Ultra, organized with the support of the Municipality of Momchilgrad. Over the past few years, the race has established itself as one of Bulgaria\u2019s most recognizable trail running events, attracting participants from both Bulgaria and abroad thanks to its unique routes and authentic Rhodope atmosphere.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Top Rent A Car proudly joined Rhodo Rock 2026 as the Official Mobility Partner. As part of the partnership, the company provided special free car rental vouchers for the winners in the various race categories, adding another valuable reward to the well-deserved prizes earned by the event\u2019s top performers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
