On June 27–28, 2026, Bulgaria’s most iconic endurance event, Vitosha 100, once again brought together thousands of runners, cyclists, and outdoor enthusiasts ready to take on the legendary 100-kilometre route around Vitosha Mountain. For the second consecutive year, Top Rent A Car proudly joined the event as its Official Mobility Partner, supporting one of the country’s largest and most prestigious sporting competitions.
This year’s edition was the biggest in the history of the event, welcoming 3,440 participants from more than 20 countries across three continents. The race featured nearly 2,000 mountain bikers, 1,300 runners, and 140 duathlon competitors, further establishing Vitosha 100 as one of Southeastern Europe’s premier endurance events. Participants ranged in age from just 7 to 80 years old, proving that the spirit of adventure knows no limits.

Outstanding Performances on the Trails
This year’s competition once again delivered exciting racing and remarkable athletic achievements.
In the 100 km ultramarathon, Plamen Penov claimed victory in the men’s race with an impressive finishing time of 8:02:50, ending the five-year winning streak of Hristo Tsvetkov. In the women’s race, Maria Nikolova once again demonstrated her exceptional endurance and secured another well-deserved victory.
The mountain biking competition was equally competitive, attracting hundreds of experienced riders who tackled the demanding terrain surrounding Vitosha Mountain. Together with the dedication of volunteers, organizers, and partners, the event once again proved why it is considered one of Bulgaria’s premier endurance races.
