For another year, the Top Rent A Car team took care of Mother Earth by participating in the bTV initiative “Let’s Clean Bulgaria Together”.🍃
The cause was held for the 11th consecutive year at the initiative of bTV Media Group. On 16.09.2023 it united institutions, non-governmental and business organizations, and volunteers to make our homeland a more beautiful and clean place to live.🍀
“Let’s Clean Bulgaria Together” is the biggest initiative in our country, which aims to build public values, conscience, and care for the environment in society.💚
As the largest volunteer initiative in our country, “Let’s Clean Bulgaria Together” aims to build public sensitivity on environmental protection issues and make Bulgaria cleaner and more beautiful in the long term. The emblematic campaign gives Bulgaria a leading place among the countries with the best voluntary practices in the care of the environment in the world.
As a socially responsible company, Top Rent A Car participated in the 11th edition of the campaign “Let’s Clean Bulgaria Together”. United by the name of the cause of a cleaner environment. The World Day of Cleaning the Planet, in which Bulgaria participated for the seventh year in a row, was held on September 16, 2023. The slogan under which the most extensive national volunteer initiative was held in our country this year is “We are ready!”. It was aimed at the diligence and energy we put into caring for the cleanliness of the planet, the future, and the education of children.
Here’s what we have done:
✅ 7 benches were repainted and with replaced boards
✅ 2 play facilities have a new color and sand
✅ the lawns are cleaned of garbage, debris, leaves
✅ we filled over 35 sacks
Since the beginning of “Let’s Clean Bulgaria Together” so far, nearly 2,500,000 volunteers, armed with gloves and sacks, have cleaned the country. According to the Ministry of Economy, they managed to collect 94,338 tons of waste. The objectives of the campaign are related to the establishment of good volunteering practices and the promotion of responsible attitudes and behavior for the creation of a cleaner and more beautiful living environment.
