The car rental procedure when renting a vehicle from Top Rent A Car begins with setting the purpose of the wanted car.
Will it be used for travelling in the city, or it will be driven mostly on highways?
The importance of this question comes from the fact that some vehicles suit better for the city or the highway. Consider renting a smaller car if you'll use it in the big city or bigger and comfortable car if you will drive on highways and main roads. Having clarity of what the customer wants is the best way to satisfy him. However, after the car is specified, there are some questions that we need to ask you. A valid driving license is a must, so please double check the dates before coming in Bulgaria? What kind of insurance you need to make? It is not a mandatory, but most of our clients prefer to purchase insurance.
After filling up the paperwork, the rent a car agent introduces the client to his new car and then they both examine the automobile for any damage or scratches. The car rental industry – yes, it is exactly “an industry” – is one of the most popular global services ever established. It’s believed that it all started in America in the 1920s with a man named Joe Saunders. He had an interesting idea – of buying and then renting his own car. Surprisingly, his idea wasn’t so bad; there actually were people who were interested in renting his car and driving it in the town. His first client rented the car to take his loved one to a date. The next one wanted to see what it was to drive a brand new vehicle. Even if the story about the lovers isn’t real, it’s a good start and doesn’t change the fact that the Joe Saunders Company is the first one that’s sure it existed. As every industry, the rent a car companies had their good and their bad times. During the Great Depression (1930s), almost all of the car hire firms closed down and never even tried to open again.
